Eligible spouses and children of veterans who are 100% P&T or who died of a service-connected condition.
What to have in hand.
- Veteran’s rating or death certificate
- School information
- Marriage or birth certificate
Moves.
- Confirm the veteran’s rating or cause of death on VA.gov.
- Apply for DEA on VA.gov.
- Give the COE to the school’s VA certifying official.
Timing hint: Apply before the term starts.
